Welcome to Help 4 Learning

The 3 fundemental requirements for academic and personal success:

  • Physical Skills - cognitive and motor skills which form a solid foundation for learning and development.
  • Interpersonal Skills - motivation, drive, self-awareness, responsibility which empower the person to set goals and achieve them.
  • Academic skills - the correct techniques to maximise learning and minimise stress.

At Help4learning we understand the importance of all areas and how they interlink. Depending upon the requirements of the individual, our programme can be followed in a linear manner from Stage 1 through to Stage 3, or it can be commenced at whichever stage is appropriate.

Stage 1 - Movement & Cognitive Skills Training (MCST)
Movement and Cognitive Skills training is based on motor and sensory stimulation to help overcome learning difficulties such as:
• Dyslexia • ADD & AD(H)D
• Dyspraxia • Aspergers Syndrome
• Dysgraphia • Autistic Spectrum Disorder
• Dyscalculia • Focus & concentration
• Auditory Processing Disorder • Speech and language

Stage 2 - The Youth and Parent Coaching Programme
Accredited by The Coaching Academy, the programme empowers individuals to take responsibility for their own lives.
Successful people are goal-orientated. They take time to identify what it is that they want and they build up a clear and detailed picture of what achieving that goal will look and feel like.
Most people however, have only a vague idea of what they want, little idea of how they're going to get there and almost no understanding of the obstacles that might hinder their progress. Without goals you are likely to be drifting and, when you drift, you are not in control. If you are not in control, then someone else is. You have relinquished your basic right to shape your own future. That future might be, pass the 11+ Academic Entrance Exam, decide which GCSE's or A-level's to choose or decide which career path to follow.

Coaching is future orientated and it provides the tools to gain the motivation, drive and determination to positively shape your own future
Stage 3 - Academic Skills
The building blocks for effective learning have been put in place during the previous stages. Therefore we can then move onto improving the skills needed for academic excellence
• Mind mapping • Spider Diagrams
• Colour coded highlighting • Revision Techniques
• Organisation • Time Management
• Multi-tasking • Focus & concentration
